Clarissa Goenawan is an Indonesian-born Singaporean writer. Her award-winning short fiction has appeared in various literary magazines and anthologies. Her debut novel, Rainbirds, won the 2015 Bath Novel Award and was shortlisted for three further prizes. The rights have been sold to 14 publishers in 11 languages. Her short stories have won several awards and, been published in various literary magazines and anthologies in Singapore, Australia, the UK, and the US, such Esquire, The MacGuffin, Cha, Monsoon Book, Writing the City, and many others. She loves rainy days, pretty books and hot green tea.
