Lahir di Bali, 22 Maret 1989. Ia lulus dari jurusan Antopologi Universitas Udayana kemudian melanjutkan program Magister Manajemen Pembangunan Sosial di FISIP Universitas Indonesia. Buku puisi pertamanya, Bali – Borneo, meraih Buku Puisi Pilihan Anugerah Hari Puisi Indonesia 2014 dari Yayasan Sagang dan Indopos. Naskah manuskripnya meraih Juara II Sayembara Manuskrip Buku Puisi DKJ 2015, terbit dengan judul Kawitan (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2016), dan pada tahun yang sama buku ini terpilih juga sebagai Lima Besar Anugerah Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa. Sebuah novelnya berjudul Kalamata, diterbitkan oleh Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia pada Oktober 2016.

Ni Made Purnama Sari was born in Bali, March 22, 1989. She graduated from the Anthropology department at Udayana University then continued the Social Development Management Masters program at FISIP, University of Indonesia. Her first poetry book, Bali – Borneo, won the Poetry Book of Choice Award for the 2014 Indonesian Poetry Day Award from the Sagang Foundation and Indopos. The manuscript won second place in the 2015 DKJ Poetry Book Manuscript Competition, published under the title Kawitan (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2016), and in the same year this book was also selected in the Top Five of the Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa Award. Her novel, entitled Kalamata, was published by the Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia (Gramedia Popular Library) in October 2016.
