Erin Ciptra was a migrant worker in Taiwan in 2012 – 2015. Currently, Erin is an activist for the Indonesian Mobile Library. In 2011, Erin started the Library for Mom mobile library activity, using a bicycle to carry around women’s books and magazines. She opened a GEMAS reading house with fellow migrant workers who have returned to Indonesia and those who are still abroad. Erin sends book packages on the 17th of every month to libraries in other regions throughout Indonesia through the BUKU BERGERAK program. In 2018, she published a collection of Santri Nusantara short stories “SUNDUL LANGIT” which was published by Diva Press.
