Naoko’s practice has grown on unceded Whadjuk land, particularly through the exploratory music scene. As a saxophonist, she collaborates and performs in improvisatory contexts, including sound design, devised theatre, and installation. She is currently supported by the Creative WA Arts Fellowship, and also co-runs a youth-led improvised music collective, WWIM.
